Can I offer Wi-Fi access to my customers?
Yes, we will help you configure the router so you can offer Wi-Fi to your customers. We can also advise on the best way to set up a guest splash page requiring guests to login for a more commercial solution.
How do I activate a new SIM card?
If you have received a replacement SIM card for an existing number, please contact us and provide the mobile number and SIM card number you received. We will activate it for you. This can take up to 24 hours but is usually much quicker.
If you have received a new SIM card with a new number, Logical Comms will have already completed the activation process. It may already be active when inserted into your handset.
Please note: In either instance, if you have inserted the new SIM card and your device shows "No Service", please switch the handset off and on again at regular intervals until service resumes.
Switching your business mobile service to Logical Comms.
You will need to find out from your current provider how to give us a PAC or STAC code so we can take care of switching for you. Please note the codes will only be valid for 30 days.
Can I get support for my business phone system outside of business hours?
Yes, Logical Comms provide 24/7 support, while others may have limited support hours.
Can I get a roaming add-on for my mobile plan?
Many providers offer roaming options for use when traveling abroad, please call Logical Comms and we will arrange this for you.
What is a virtual number?
A virtual number is a phone number that is not tied to a physical line and can be used to forward calls to another number.
Can I bring my existing phone numbers with me when switching providers?
Yes, you can typically transfer your phone number to a new provider.
What are the benefits of cloud-based phone systems?
Cloud-based systems offer a more feature rich business telecom solution, flexibility, scalability, and often lower upfront costs.
What is a digital line, and why do I need it? Commonly referred to as the “BT copper switch off”.
Digital lines are replacing traditional copper lines as part of a nationwide upgrade by BT which is scheduled to be completed by 31st January 2027. Important: This upgrade is happening now, and BT have closed several exchanges across the country. Do not wait please call Logical Comms for advice without delay.
